Based out of the Reno-Sparks Nevada area we are a group dedicated to the study of firearms, clothing, methods and culture of the fur trapping and westward expansion of American history. Primarily the early 1800’s to the 1840’s
Our club “Lakes Crossing Muzzleloaders” established in 1977 promotes traditional black powder shooting, safe gun handling, marksmanship, and the historical significance of the Fur trade era.
Our membership is varied from all walks, trades, professions, and ages. We are a family oriented organization that encourages all levels of participation. All are welcome.
Yearly membership dues are $25.00 per individuals or families
Fees for the monthly shoot is $5.00 per individual at registration
Fees for the rendezvous are $10.00 per individual or $20.00 for the entire family at registration
